Join us tomorrow (April 12th) as we welcome guest speaker, Patrick Lindsey. Mr. Lindsey is a lifelong resident of Northwest Ohio and a retired professional golfer. Joining the PGA in 1975, he enjoyed a 12 year career before retiring in 1987. Additionally, Jerry Lemieux will be joining the program tomorrow. Mr. Lemieux is an accomplished Rules Official and has been a referee at over 75 national and international championships. Fred Dannhauser, Focus CFO (Area President), has been proposed for membership by Alison Frye and approved by the Board of Directors. Barring an objection in writing from a member submitted to the club secretary (Wayne Koskinen) by Friday, May 3rd, Mr. Dannhauser will be inducted into membership upon payment of dues and attendance at a new member orientation session. Beyond Borders - No Passport Needed The District 6600 Conference will be held on May 10 - 12th at Kalahari Resort and Convention Center in Sandusky, Ohio. Annual Meeting and Club Assembly On Friday December 18th, the club hosted their Annual Meeting and Club Assembly. President Fehnrich presented the club with an excellent presentation regarding the club's structure and upcoming events. A few of the upcoming club events and topics are highlighted below: There is still a need for additional members to help out with the Community Garage Sale. If you are interested in volunteering your time for the Community Garage Sale, contact Chet Welch. Club Dues have been sent out. If you have questions regarding your dues and the change in the payment cycle, contact Cindy Russeau. The PCU Thanksgiving Drive was a huge success this year. $6,000.00 was raised this year and it helped to provide 130 families with thanksgiving meals. Be the Inspiration Welcome to the 2018 - 2019 Rotary Year!! We are excited to kick off our first meeting of the year with a new Rotary Theme and Rotary Club President! As you head into the meeting tomorrow (July 13th), we ask that you are mindful of the new changes that take effect tomorrow. If you have selected the "pay as you go" option for weekly meetings, please stop at the table in the hallway before entering the main dinning room. We will collect your $15.00 for the cost of lunch at this table or the $5.00 charge which covers the Carranor table setup/beverage service. If you have selected to pay the full amount for lunches, you may proceed to the main check in table. We will only be accepting CASH or CHECK tomorrow.
