Welcome back to the first Perrysburg Rotary Hybrid meeting since November.  President Wise is ecstatic to welcome members back to lunch at the Belmont Country Club.  As previously communicated, this meeting will be limited on seats and lunch needs to be paid in advance by end of the day on Thursday (4/15).  To pay for your lunch, please log in to your ClubRunner account and click on "my account balance".  If you are in need of assistance, please contact Ashley Lopez.

We are very excited to welcome guest speaker Sara Best from Real. Good. Ventures.

Growing a business, a team, or your results in challenging times requires strong leadership.  Strong leaders use self-awareness as a foundation to leverage their strengths, identify their blind spots, find ways to adapt to lessen the impact of their weaker areas, collaborate more effectively with others, and accomplish team goals.

Understanding one’s natural behavioral drives is the first step in developing self-awareness. Next, it’s important to understand which Emotional Intelligence (EQ) skills are most critical to success with people and with performance.

Sara Best, Principal and Co-Founder of Real Good Ventures, LLC,  has studied and worked with emotional intelligence for almost 20 years.  She will unpack what it is, why it's important, and how we can use EQ to optimize our performance and our lives.

Sara is a people and team development champion with over 25 years of experience serving global, national and regional organizations of all sizes and scope in both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors.

Sara is a certified Talent Optimization Leader, a Certified Practitioner of The Predictive Index, a Certified EQ-i2.0/EQ 360 Assessment Administrator as well as an experienced Emotional Intelligence, Performance, Team, and Executive Coach.

Sara is a member of CAPAPRO- an elite membership network of The Table Group, a Patrick Lencioni Company.  She is an advanced facilitator of The Advantage Model and The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from The Ohio State University and a master’s degree in administration from Eastern Michigan University.

We look forward to welcoming you back to in-person and virtual Rotary!
