Raffle for Rotary Park

Raffle for Rotary Park .  A step towards the return of Perrysburg Rotary being Perrysburg Rotary!

Much has been taken away from us this past year.  As Rotarians we lost the opportunity to support Rotary.

No dues, no fines, no raffle, and no annual fundraising event.

The Raffle for Rotary Park is just that opportunity to support Rotary.

Understanding that we have all been affected by the pandemic, some tragically, some less, some hardly at all.

Raffle for Rotary Park funds the Perrysburg Rotary Service Foundation continued development  of Rotary Park by helping to offset the construction cost of our awesome new pavilion and our  recent grant contribution to the new “inclusive playground” project.

Raffle for Rotary Park and how you can help!

  • Raffle for Rotary Park will be open and promoted to the public for online ticket  purchases.
  • Only 500 tickets will be sold with a grand prize of $5,000, Runner Up prize of $2,000 and  five prizes at $375. (If less than 500 tickets are sold the prizes will be proportionally less as explained on the Perrysburg Rotary webpage.)
  • Tickets are $75 each and are only available online via the Perrysburg Rotary webpage through Greater Giving. If every Perrysburg Rotarian is able buy or help sell 4 tickets  ($300), which is a little more than our second half dues, that would be awesome!
  • There are sponsorship opportunity for those wishing to purchase 10 ($750) or more  tickets with a “Presenting Sponsor” designation for purchasing 20 ($1,500) or more  tickets.
  • The cutoff to purchase raffle tickets is Thursday, June 3rd, 2021.
  • Raffle for Rotary Park drawing will be held at our Charter Night event on Saturday,  June 5th. Winners need not be present to win. Winners will be contacted if not present  and posted on the Perrysburg Rotary Webpage.

Thank you for your past generosity and support of our Perrysburg Rotary Service Foundation!

Perrysburg Rotary Service Opportunity: 577 Foundation Volunteer Opportunity

We are in need of 6-10 volunteers on each of the following days to help plant the plants purchased with the Rotary grant: Saturday, May 1, 10:00 a.m. – Noon Friday, May 7, 1:30-3:30 p.m.

The majority of the planting will be on May 1 since the plants will need to get into the ground, and then touch ups and mulching on the 7th as needed (or we’ll use it as a rain date if we have inclement weather on May 1).

Volunteers would need to wear clothes and shoes they don’t mind getting dirty, and we’d request that they please bring a shovel if they have one (we have some extras, but not enough to go around).

No prior experience is necessary, and kids are welcome if they come with their parents. Please bring masks just in case they are needed.

All volunteers and staff will be expected to follow COVID safety procedures as described by the CDC and Ohio Department of Health.

Will meet at 577 Foundation in the Courtyard at the meeting/starting time.

Please reply directly to this email to sign up for the May 1st Volunteering!

We will be in need of several volunteers to help us on the morning of the event.  If you are interested in this service project, please click here to sign up for volunteering.

Ribbon Cutting at the Perryburg Rotary Park Pavilion

Last Friday several Rotarians had the honor and privilege of cutting the ribbon on the new Rotary Park Pavilion.

This beautiful pavilion was a labor of love and dedication on behalf of our club members and community sponsors.

We are truly blessed to be able to support our community and continue to watch Rotary Community Park evolve!
