Service Above Self - December Service Project

Our Perrysburg Rotary Community Service Committee has worked with Moms Mobile Mission to provide us with a volunteer opportunity for December.

As many of us are aware, Moms Mobile Mission offers a food distribution for our neighbors in Wood County.  The distribution occurs on the third Thursday of every month.  This month, Perrysburg Rotary has the opportunity to volunteer and help prepare the distribution in the morning and then help deliver the food to the client's cars in the evening.

There are two opportunities to serve.  December 17th from 9:00-10:00 am or December 17th from 5:30 - 7:00 pm.

Please click on the link below to sign up for either the morning work session or the evening work session, or both!!  We are still in need of several more volunteers!!

If you have questions or need additional information, please do not hesitate to ask.

Perrysburg Rotary, Making the Holidays Brighter

The Cocoon Christmas Wish List

Some families fleeing from abuse will spend the holiday season residing in shelter.  They will be safe, warm and amongst Cocoon staff who will be there to support them 24/7.  Because of the continued generosity of the Perrysburg Rotary Club, many survivors in shelter and in the greater community will receive holiday gifts.

Even small donations make a big impact. A quote from a Cocoon survivor:

"The many trips I had to make to the courthouse during my case against my abuser was taking a financial toll on my already strained resources.  My Cocoon advocate told me that they could provide assistance with gas cards thanks to the many wonderful community donors.  I was able to stretch my paycheck to the end of the month and ensure that we kept a roof over our heads!"

Suggested donation items:

THANK YOU, Rotarians, for showing your love and support to families at The Cocoon Shelter!
