Together with local Rotary Clubs and Seagate Food Bank, SewHope is holding a Community Food Packing Event. As COVID continues to run rampant through Guatemala, families who live in dire poverty are being pushed to the brink of starvation. White flags continue to be flown, which symbolize that a family is surrendering to hunger.

SewHope and the Kids Coalition Against Hunger are partnering with SeaGate Food Bank to host a Community Food Packing Event! The need for food is urgent and great in both Toledo and Guatemala, as families are pushed to brink of starvation and beyond. In 2020 alone, SewHope distributed over 35,000 emergency food packs to starving families in Guatemala. In the Toledo area, 1 in 5 children face food insecurity and daily hunger.

Join us in our goal to raise funds and people-power to pack 100,000 meals!  Join us for the Packing Event Shifts 1st Shift: 8am-10:30pm 2nd Shift: 10am-12:30pm Help us feed hungry children down the street and around the world!
