Last Friday we had a surprise visit from Perrysburg High School Counselor, Alana Sigg, and Taft.

Many may remember Mrs. Sigg joined us in September to talk about the Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) program and how the students at Perrysburg Schools have been impacted by having a therapy dog in the hallways and classroom.

Shortly after the visit, we had the opportunity to present the Perrysburg Schools Facility Dog Program with a grant to help support their wish list of items needed to care for their facility dogs.  In addition to our grant, many members also signed up to donate items to the program as a service project.

Mrs. Sigg was beyond thankful for our support and wanted to express her gratitude in person!  She was extremely excited to bring along her newest Dog in Training, Taft.  Taft is an incredible dog!  Patient, obedient, and friendly.  He has a bright future in the program and we are so grateful our schools are able to provide this program to the students in our community.

Be on the look out for more information from Mrs. Sigg and the Perrysburg Schools Facility Dog Program.
