Bill has been a middle school social studies teacher for more than 25 years in Perrysburg, Ohio. Throughout his career, he looked for ways to bring the world into his classroom. With the help of others who also believed in the virtues of global citizenship, he turned that passion into the World Affairs Council of Northwest Ohio.
He has been able to share this passion with many international visitors as well as his family, friends, and colleagues. He has presented at many conferences, seminars, and workshops on the local, state, national, and international stage. Hosting many individuals and groups in many programs both abroad and locally has helped cement his love for all things international.
One of his proudest accomplishments has been seeing the Global Studies Diploma make a difference in the lives of local high school students. Bill continues to learn every day with a deep passion for developing meaningful relationships across the globe. His wife and children have supported his fascinating journey. (source)
