Last week (11/12) we had the pleasure of welcoming Veteran Zach Migura, Executive Director and Wood County Veterans Service Officer. In additions to welcoming Mr. Migura, we also had the joy of welcoming several local veterans to our lunch.
Guests in attendance at the meeting had the amazing opportunity to listen to our Veterans recall their time in service and fond memories.
Together, we had the opportunity to learn more about the services available to Veterans through the Wood County Veterans Office. The services include but are not limited to:
- Agency Navigation
- VA Assistance and Representation
- Emergency Financial Assistance
- Transportation to VA Medical Appointments
- Honor Detail, Grave Marker, and Flags
- State Veteran's Identification Card
- Indigent Burial
- Presentation Groups
