Perrysburg Rotary Weekly Meeting for November 22, 2024

Join us Friday, November 22nd, as we welcome guest speaker, Chris Smalley, Director of the Wood County Park District.

Chris Smalley joined the Wood County Park District as their new Director in December
2021. Previously, he served as the Regional Manager of Operations for the East Region for
Metroparks Toledo. He holds a degree in Environmental Studies & Land Use Planning
from the State University of New York, College of Environmental Science and Forestry in
Syracuse. Chris has been active in the park & recreation field in Ohio since 2000.

Chris has volunteered with numerous agencies on projects along the Maumee River, including sitting
on the State Scenic River Advisory Council for the Maumee River, the Partners for Clean
Streams Board of Directors and the TMACOG Board of Trustees.  In his free time, Chris
volunteers with the Black Swamp Conservancy.  Chris enjoys hiking, camping, music and
spending time with his family.

If you are paying for your lunch online, please click here to log into your Rotary Account. Then click on "My Account Balance" to pay for your lunch. We will also be accepting payment at the meeting by check or exact cash. A buffet lunch will be provided for $20.00 starting at 11:45am.

Rotarian Aaron Arnold will be leading the club in Prayer and Pledge and Rotarian Hallie Nagel will be providing Fine Master responsibilities.

Fundraiser Committee Meeting - November 20, 2024

It's time to start planning for our annual fundraiser!!

Join President Bill Bohney and Fundraiser Chair Tami Wise as they host their monthly Fundraising Committee Meeting.

The meeting will be held at Poco Piatti on Wednesday, November 20th. Meeting start time is 5:30 but please feel free to gather as early as 5:00 to detox from the work day!

November 2024 STRIVE Meeting

Join our Penta STRIVE Students for breakfast and to help them as they start think of their next steps after graduation.

The meeting will be held in Room 1106 at Penta Career Center (8-9:30 am).

New Member Proposal - Wally Bell

Wally Bell, Northcoast Security, has been proposed for membership by Rotarian Mark Weber and approved by the Board of Directors. Barring an objection in writing from a member submitted to the club secretary (Wayne Koskinen) by Friday, November 29th, Mr. Bell will be inducted into membership upon payment of dues and attendance at a new member orientation session.
