We started the 2015-2016 year off with a check presentation to the Feed Our Families program. As you might recall, Feed Our Families is a summer food program for families and children in the area. The program is hosted out of Zoar Lutheran Church in Perrysburg. This coming Friday, July 17th, fellow Rotarians will be serving the community during the lunch hours.
Our Fine Master for this past week was a Sarge Purewal. Sarge was gracious enough to share some of his family history with us. At the end of his Fine Master duties he divulged that he had written a book about his life and famiy and had brought copies of the book to share with the Club.
Lisa Krebs, Executive Director of Girls on the Run Northwest Ohio was our first guest speaker of the new year. The Rotary Club of Perrysburg is fortunate enough to be one of the many sponsor for GOTR. Lisa provided an overview of the program, the impact it is having on the young ladies (grades 3 - 5) and what their goals are for the future. As Lisa pointed out, GOTR has a lasting impact on their participants much like our Club has a lasting impact on our community, district and world. Together, we are making change happen.

2016 PERRYSBURG ROTARY AUCTION, February 6, 2015 - It's never too soon to start thinking about the upcoming auction. This past week we had our first auction item come in, a 2014 Ohio State football signed by Urban Meyer.
