2015 Harrison Rally Day Festival (September 12, 2015)

It's hard to believe that we are already thinking about the

Harrison Rally Day Festival. We are, once again, hosting a

booth and participating in the parade. There will be a need

for volunteers for both the booth and parade. The rotary booth

needs to be set up between 8:30-9:00 AM and we need volunteers

to take care of the booth from 10:00 – 4:00. We usually need at

least two people in the booth in 2 hour increments. We also need

volunteers at 4:00 to help take down the booth and tent. For the

float we would need people at 9:00 Am to help set up and decorate

the float. At the upcoming meetings, you will find a volunteer sign

up sheet on each table. Please take a moment and sign up for either

the booth or parade or both volunteer opportunities. If you are unable

to make the next meeting but would like to sign up, please contact

A RECAP OF LAST WEEK'S MEETING (August 28, 2015) - President

Fehnrich started us off with a wonderful video for her "Rotary Minute" segment.

This week's video is called "What is Rotary" and be viewed here. Ken Robinson

was our Fine Master for the week. He gave us a brief idea of what his work life

working as the Regional Disaster Officer for the Red Cross and a few defining

moments he has experienced while working there. He then gave us a quick Rotary

History group quiz. To finish our program, we had a delightful presentation from
