This Friday, August 14th, we are excited to welcome The Ability Center and guest speakers Stacie Baumbarger, Director of Assistance Dogs, and Julie Abbott, Client Services Supervisor!
We’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at The Ability Center’s Assistance Dogs Program, including how dogs are raised, trained, matched, and placed and the incredible impact they have on individuals, families, schools, and our community.
And the real VIPs will be joining us too! Bridger, a Facility Dog from The Ability Center, will be visiting, along with Norene “Norie,” Wood County Courthouse Facility Dog, brought by Rotarian Paul Dobson.
We’ll also have a familiar face at the podium! Past President Alison Frye will be stepping in for President Nagel to ring the bell and lead us through Friday’s meeting.
Service Dogs. Skilled Companion Dogs. Facility Dogs. Great Rotary fellowship. And plenty of wagging tails.
We’re about to have a PAWSOME good time at Rotary this Friday!
