SERVE-TEMBER is Back… and We’re Adding ACT-OBER!
September is here, and that means SERVE-TEMBER is officially back for its second year! But this year, we’re not stopping when September ends. We’re carrying the spirit of service straight into October with the launch of our first-ever ACT-OBER!
Together, these two months are about giving Perrysburg Rotarians more opportunities to roll up their sleeves, work alongside community partners, enjoy fellowship, and put Service Above Self into action.
Throughout September and October, we’ll be collaborating with organizations and friends throughout our community, including Maumee Rotary, Let’s Build Beds, Perrysburg Schools Interact, the Wood County Committee on Aging, Garmin, and Little Free Libraries.
Our opportunities include our September Impact Box Book Drive, collecting new and gently used books for local Little Free Libraries; delivering meals and smiles through RotaMeals; volunteering at the Garmin Race Water Station; joining Maumee Rotary for a Side Cut clean-up; working with Let’s Build Beds and Perrysburg Interact to build beds for local children; and wrapping up October by serving families at Fall Into Rotary Park.
There are opportunities to give an item, give a few hours, work alongside another Rotary club, partner with our next generation of Rotarians, or simply try something new.
You don’t have to participate in everything to make an impact. Pick an opportunity, bring a fellow Rotarian, and come serve!
