As the temperatures begin to drop and the weather starts chasing us indoors, our October Impact Box is focused on bringing a little extra activity, creativity, and connection to local seniors.
Throughout October, the Perrysburg Rotary Club will be collecting indoor activities and creative supplies to benefit the Perrysburg Senior Center through the Wood County Committee on Aging.
From a crossword puzzle over a cup of coffee to a new knitting project or an afternoon spent creating something by hand, these simple activities can help keep our local seniors active, engaged and connected as more time is spent indoors.
We’re looking for new items such as:
Crossword, word search and Sudoku books
Pens and pencils
Adult coloring books and colored pencils
Craft kits
Knitting and crochet supplies
Yarn
Playing cards and card games
Jigsaw puzzles
Other senior-friendly indoor activities
Members are encouraged to bring donations to our Rotary meetings throughout October and help us fill the Impact Box!
