Our Rotary Family lost a dear member last week.

It was truly an honor and a privilege to serve along side Jim Moser.

In 1978, Jim and several others saw an opportunity to start a local Rotary Club in Perrysburg. With dedication and passion, Jim helped develop our club into a strong pillar of the Perrysburg community.
On July 1, 1981, Jim took over the gavel as the 4th Perrysburg Rotary President. Still a young club but determine to leave a mark in the community, Jim led the charge of service above self.
Rotary was always a part of Jim’s family and Jim’s family was always a part of Rotary. In 2010, Jim found love again with Fellow Rotarian Dawn Schmidt. Together Jim and Dawn continued loving and supporting the Club and the Club’s continuing commitment to improving our community and world.

For years, Jim was a constant fixture at Rotary. Dedicated to sitting at the back table in the room, Jim was quick to welcome a visitor or new member, add commentary to any meeting, and was always supporting the President leading the charge with advice and words of wisdom.

We will forever be indebted to Jim and his family for seeing the value of having a Rotary Club in Perrysburg and continuing to foster and embrace the Club’s motto of Service Above Self.
